Club News and Layouts

Stop Press: The Ebor club now require new club rooms as the owners are selling up,so if anyone knows of any potential rooms that would be available in the York area please get in touch.

Another very good show, a good selection of layouts supported by our good friends from Monk Bar Model Shop ( the good looking guys came on Sunday )

All club members put a lot of effort into the show to get the venue ready and worked late on Sunday to dismantle and tidy up so many thanks to you all.

Special thanks to the following…..

Jim our show manager who works throughout the year organising the event

Ross who gives up his time and equipment to work the door and also sells the show with his banter and makes my job as treasurer a little bit easier.

Hazel quarry and her merry band of men ( including John miss marple Foster ) Anthony  (who ate all the muffins ) and last but not least David Quarry ( under instruction from Hazel ) and what a fantastic job the girls from York Against Cancer did, keeping us fed and watered.

Last of all Jeff Hill who travelled all the way from Wales just to help out also organising the Lord Layor amongst other things.

Photo’s from our 50th anniversary show held on February 17/18
